INGREDIENTS

1/2 kg chicken, cleaned and cut into medium sized pieces
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 cup chopped onions
whole spices (3 green cardamoms,2"Cinnamon,6 cloves,one star aniseed)
2 cups of water
salt
oil
chopped coriander leaves for garnish

Grind to a paste:
1 tbsp coriander seeds
5-6 dry red chillis
1 Fennel seeds
2 Green cardamom
4 Cloves
2" Cinnamon

METHOD
  1. Grind the onions coarsely.
  2. Dry roast dry red chillis,coriander seeds, cardamoms, Cinnamon, cloves, Fennel and make a paste adding some water.
  3. Heat 3 tbsps of oil in a pan and add whole spices.
  4. Now add the coarsely ground onions and fry till brown.
  5. Add ginger garlic paste and chicken and fry for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add the ground paste and salt and mix well.
  7. Cover and cook till oil seperates.
  8. Now add 2 cups of water and cook till done.
  9. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
