INGREDIENTS

5-6 Slices of Fish
6 tbsp semolina
2 tsp salt
½ tsp haldi / turmeric
2 tsp red chilli powder
3 tbsp vegetable oil
3 limes cut into quarters

METHOD
  1. Clean the fish properly by marinading it first with 4 tbsp. salt and lime. Keep for 10 mins and wash properly.
  2. Mix all the spices and rub on both sides of the fish. Let it stand for half an hour.
  3. Now spread the semolina on a plate and coat both sides of all the fish.
  4. Heat half the oil in a large non stick frying pan and fry three fish at a time.
  5. Brown well on both sides for 3-5 minutes. Serve immediately with lime quarters
